Can my child attend if we're not current clients with Lollipops?

Yes! We welcome you to enroll your child and would love to have them join us.

What ages are allowed to attend?

Our Summer Program is for children ages 5-12 years old. 

Children can attend Summer Program beginning on their 5th birthday, space permitting. Please note that we do not offer prorated pricing for partial program participation.

What if my child will only attend for part of the program, not the entire thing?

We will be happy to have them with us for whatever days they can attend! Please note that because all of the tickets, activities and supplies for Summer Program are purchased in advance, we do not offer any prorating, partial payments or refunds. No exceptions.

Do you offer a payment plan?

Our default billing for Summer Program is the cost of Summer Program split evenly for 3 months. You have the option to be billed on June 1, July 1, and August 1 OR on

May 15, June 15, and July 15. You also have the option to pay in full upfront.

What is the deadline for signing up? Will there be space for my child?

There is no deadline for signing up for Summer Program! We aim to have space for all eligible children who want to attend. Please fill out the Registration Form, and our Billing Director will send you a message on Brightwheel within five (5) business days to confirm your registration or offer alternative options. If you are not a current client, you will receive this message via email.

What does the cost of the program cover?

The cost of our Summer Program includes many things! It covers ALL admission fees, transportation, lunches, grip socks, a Lollipops t-shirt, supplies for crafts and games, and extra food and snacks. It also helps ensure that we can provide a low staff-to-child ratio which increases child safety.

Is food provided?

We offer breakfast, lunch and snacks to all Summer Program participants.

What is the ratio of caregiver to child?

As with our regular care, our ratios for Summer Program are lower than state requirements! While the Utah state ratio is 1:20, our Summer Program ratio is 1:10 and will often be lower than that.

What happens when the kids get back to your facility?

If you signed up for Summer Program and daycare, your child will remain at our center for regular care until you pick them up. If you are signed up for Summer Program only, your child will need to be picked up upon return to our facility. Any time spent at our facility after returning from Summer Program will be considered daycare and will be billed accordingly.

What happens if my child gets sick or has behavioral issues while away from your facilities?

The safety of your child is extremely important to us. All of our safety policies still apply to Summer Program trips. This includes:

  • Sick children will need to be picked up.

  • Behavioral issues will be given one warning. Intense or prolonged behavioral issues may require your child to be picked up early and/or require a cool-down day the following day.

Can I pick my child up from the field trip location, or do I have to pick them up at Lollipops?

If you do not need daycare after Summer Program hours, you can pick up your child at the field trip location OR at our facility. If you plan to pick up at the field trip location, please let your director know ahead of time via Brightwheel message!

I have questions before I want to officially register my child. Who do I talk to?

Our Billing Director answers all Summer Program questions, and there is a box on the registration form where you can include questions. If you’re at all interested in your child participating in our Summer Program, but have questions before officially enrolling, fill out the form and include your questions in the indicated box. Our Billing Director will reach out to you on Brightwheel (or email, if you're not a current client) and answer any questions you may have. The registration form is the only way we will know if you’re interested and is the best place to submit questions. Even if you’re unsure if you want your child to participate, fill out the form and we can go from there!
